William Ferguson

As our Associate Attorney, William handles contracts for clients, including negotiations, reviews, hearings, and obtaining parental rights. He also provides IT and programming support for the firm, and helps with drafting and hearings for other attorneys in San Diego.

William is dedicated to helping parents with reproductive challenges to navigate the often-arduous and complex journey to becoming the legal guardians of their child(ren). Having joined Fertility and Surrogacy Legal Group in 2016, he strives to ensure comfort, confidence, and clarity for clients while managing the details on their behalf.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from The University of California, San Diego, William received his juris doctorate from the USD School of Law. He has served as a volunteer for the Barrio Logan College Institute, Kaiser Hospital, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s domestic violence clinic, and the Public Interest Law Clinic.

Helping people achieve the life experience they most desire lies at the core of William’s personal mission. His work with Fertility and Surrogacy Legal Group allows him to assist with one of humanity’s most fundamental desires: that of building and growing a strong, loving, and supportive family.

With his robust intellect, William maintains an active interest in science, philosophy, nature, etymology, poetry, engineering, and medicine. In fact, he scored competitively on the MCAT after finishing law school. One of his current side-projects involves the design and development of a radar-carrying drone.

William was born in New York and attended 13 different schools before the age of 14. Settled in San Diego ever since, he is a proud and dedicated father of three boys.
