Biography

For more than a decade, Erin O’Kane Allen has guided individuals and families through the complexities of third-party reproduction and family formation. After many years running her own practice dedicated exclusively to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) law, she now brings that depth of experience to Fertility and Surrogacy Legal Group, offering clients the same clear, compassionate counsel she is known for.

Erin’s connection to assisted reproduction began early in life through her mother’s work in the field, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and emotions involved in building a family through alternative paths. After beginning her legal work in 2010 and founding her own ART-focused practice in 2011, she has continued to advocate with compassion, clarity, and a client-centered approach.

Erin earned her B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California, where she was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and competed on the Women’s Swim Team. She received her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, serving as a fellow in the Intellectual Property Certificate Program, a Senior Member of the Whittier Journal of Child and Family Advocacy, and President of the Intellectual Property Society.

During her spare time, Erin enjoys CrossFit, going to USC Football games, and spending time with her husband, Jake, and dog, Griff.
